This magnificant property has been in the Ayers family since 1850 and was part of a vast acreage owned then by Jimmy Ayers. It has never before been offered to the public. The property has been farmland throughout the decades. It served as pasture and crop land most of the time. In the 1950's this property was one of the first Faser Fir Christmas Tree Farms in North Carolina. Some of those Christmas trees were left to grow and now tower over the landscape. Portions of the original estate are still operating as a Fraser Fir Farm. Western N.C. is now one of the leading Christmas Tree producing states in the United States. Offered will be twelve lots already serviced with undergorund utilities. These lots range in size from .8 to 1.6 acres. |
